1. Computer Programmer

Location: New York, New York

Duties:

Develop and write computer program source code to process, save, search and retrieve data, information, files and documents from file systems and databases; Convert project specifications and statements of problems and procedures into detailed logical flow charts, and design documents for coding into computer language; Analyze requirement specifications, and implement using several web technologies to permit dynamic behavior of web based computer programs; Test, investigate and compute expected load behavior to develop computer programs that perform satisfactorily under stress; Interact with current and prospective clients, understand end to end business requirements, and perform tasks for computer programming; and, Use computer programming technologies, such as Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, OOD, UML, Java, Unix Shell Scripting, Informatica, Perl, etc.

3. Mobile Application Programmer Trainee

Location: New York City
Type: Permanent
Level: Entry

We are looking for hard working individuals to assist in the design and implementation of multiple mobile applications. By joining our team as a mobile application programmer trainee you will be trained in the technologies and skills you need to design and develop innovative mobile solutions. This is an invaluable opportunity for growth in an innovative field of increasingly high demand.

  • Strong attention to detail, exceptional analytic skills.
  • A positive attitude towards learning new skills, and exploring new products and technologies.
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment.
  • Some experience with HTML in college or industry projects will be preferred.
  • Any experience with one or more server-side web application technologies will be preferred.

We are looking for experienced designers to work on educational and publishing applications. The designers will work closely with the development team to build lively, engaging applications.

  • Familiarity with design concepts for mobile applications.
  • Detail oriented approach.
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment.
  • Some experience with HTML will be preferred.
  • Experience in the education or publishing space will be a plus.
  • An eye for User experience and familiarity with UX concepts will be a plus. This is not a UX job per se, but UX experience will help.

5. Project Manager

We are looking for experienced Project Managers for multiple projects at client locations. The project portfolio is varied, ranging from mobile application development to Big Data projects.

  • Must take ownership of projects – we are not looking for task-list managers.
  • Must work closely with the Architects, Tech Leads and BAs on a project.
  • Should be familiar with Agile development methodology and associated tools.
  • Must have very strong written presentation skills.
  • Must be proficient with MS-Project.
  • Must be able to manage client expectations and delivery schedules.
  • PMP or like certification is not necessary if candidate has the other requisites.

6. Director of Sales – Education Industry

Location: Global
Type: Contract
Level: Senior

We are looking for a senior salesperson who can take our educational products and services to the right clients. We believe that our products have growing potential in the US and abroad, and this role will work with senior management to define our global sales strategy, build a sales team, and put in the direct sales effort required to meet our goals.

  • Proven track record of sales in the education space – to education publishing companies, school boards, etc.
  • Experience with global sales – specifically in China and India – will be preferred.
  • Past experience with building and growing a sales organization.
  • Ability to define a sales strategy, and work on the operational aspects of the strategy.

Quantilus is looking for Technical Project Managers in New York, NY area. A Technical Project Manager will: help translate business needs, define & implement technology solutions. Oversee codebase & web/application servers. Oversee development, staging and production environments. Full job duties include:

  • Help translate business needs, define and implement technology solutions.
  • Assist in the feature scoping and planning process for all product enhancements.
  • Manage development priorities, workflow and deadlines for software engineers.
  • Mentor, train and support software engineers on the project.
  • Manage regularly scheduled software releases.
  • Plan for and manage additional, standalone releases and migrations.
  • Provide first-line support to business units.
  • Data management of large databases.
  • Oversee codebase and web/application servers.
  • Oversee development, staging and production environments.
